Fiona has worked with children, youth and adults with additional needs, from a wide range of backgrounds for over 25 years. Whilst working as a Special Education teacher she became aware of the crucial role early intervention plays in addressing issues, such as anxiety and behavioural challenges. Fiona strongly believes that by bringing knowledge, experience and a belief that all people can succeed together, they can then be empowered to make positive and lasting change.
As well as her hands on work with children, youth and adults from diverse backgrounds, Fiona brings an in depth knowledge of working with children, youth and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and the many challenges they face through social interactions.
Fiona also works with families and children who are involved in Out of Home Care and has an understanding of the challenges this can present. Fiona has worked with children, youth and families experiencing trauma and the impact this has on their lives.
